Cairo & Nile Cruise Holiday 9 days Day by Day Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Cairo
Arrive at Cairo International Airport where our representative will meet and assist you before transferring you to your hotel for overnight stay in Cairo.
Day 2: Giza Pyramids, Sphinx & Saqqara – Sleeper Train
Visit the Great Pyramids of Giza, the Sphinx, and Saqqara Step Pyramid. In the evening, transfer to Cairo station for the overnight sleeper train to Aswan.
Day 3: Aswan – Philae Temple & High Dam
Arrive in Aswan and explore the beautiful Philae Temple dedicated to Goddess Isis and visit the impressive High Dam. Overnight in Aswan hotel.
Day 4: Optional Abu Simbel Tour – Nile Cruise Check-in
Enjoy an optional tour to Abu Simbel Temples before boarding your Nile Cruise. Sail toward Kom Ombo and enjoy dinner onboard.
Day 5: Kom Ombo & Edfu Temples
Visit Kom Ombo Temple dedicated to Sobek and Horus, then continue sailing to Edfu to explore the Temple of Horus. Overnight onboard the Nile Cruise in Luxor.
Day 6: Luxor West Bank Tour
Discover the Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut Temple, and the Colossi of Memnon on Luxor’s West Bank. Return to the Nile Cruise for overnight stay.
Day 7: Karnak & Luxor Temples – Sleeper Train to Cairo
Visit the majestic Karnak Temple Complex and Luxor Temple before transferring to the sleeper train back to Cairo.
Day 8: Cairo City Tour
Explore the Egyptian Museum, Citadel of Salah El Din, Old Cairo, Hanging Church, Abu Serga Church, and Khan El Khalili Bazaar. Overnight in Cairo hotel.
