Our guide will meet you at the port of Alexandria to drive you in a modern, air-conditioned vehicle to Wadi el Natrun.
Start your journey from Deir al-Paramus, the oldest and most remote of the four monasteries, then continue to Deir Anba Bishoi, where the body of the founder of the monastery still rests.
Continue your journey to Deir Abu Maqar, where the monastery is the richest thanks to the 600 workers employed in the vast farm that stretches out in front of it and the presence of more than 100 monks.
The smallest and most compact of the four monasteries, Deir El-Suryani, marks the end of your journey.
