The Valley Temple of the Sphinx
Known in Arabic as Abu Al Hol (Father of Terror), this sculpture of a man with the haunches of a lion was nicknamed the Sphinx by the ancient Greeks because it resembled their mythical winged monster who posed riddles and killed anyone who could not answer them.
A geological study has shown that it was most likely carved into the bedrock at the bottom of the causeway during the reign of Khafre, so it probably portrays his features.
The Egyptian Museum is the oldest museum in the world dedicated entirely to Egyptian culture, so there is a private guide who speaks and explains the fundamental stages of its formation, from the birth of the collection to the present day.
Among the museum’s incomparable antiquities is the Narmer painting, which immortalizes the unification of Upper and Lower Egypt under a single king, and is among the museum’s priceless artifacts.
As well as a large group of statues of the great kings, Cheops, Chephren and Mycerinus, the builders of the pyramids of Giza.

Khan el-Khalili is one of the main attractions of Cairo. This is the souk of the old city, a large market as busy as it is noisy, but with spicy and unique colors and smells.
We will walk through its labyrinthine streets, true open-air museums. The best place in the city to buy souvenirs and copies of Ancient Egyptian artifacts.
After finishing your trip to Cairo, our friendly representative will transfer you with our driver to Port Said in an air-conditioned car.
