Start your day tour from your hotel in Aswan with an air-conditioned vehicle to explore the history of the Nubia region.
Enjoy the magnificent views of the Nile River while you take a motorboat to Kalabsha Temple located on the banks of Lake Nasser.
The Temple of Kalabsha was built by the emperor Octavius Augustus in 30 BC, during the Roman Period. It was dedicated to Mandulis (Merul), the god of the sun. Kalabsha temple is considered the largest freestanding temple in Egyptian Nubia.
Then, you go ahead to visit the Nubian Museum built-in 1997 to house all the objects discovered from tombs, temples, and settlements and save it from the drowning because of the High Dam flood.
