Discover the most famous attractions in Cairo by visiting the Egyptian Museum, the Giza pyramids, the Great Sphinx, and enjoy Khan El-Khalili Bazaar.
You will be met by our private Egyptologist English speaking guide at your hotel to accompany you by air-conditioned car to visit the Giza Pyramids that are the eternal resting places of the pharaohs of the 4th dynasty (2550 B.C.). You will visit the three famous pyramids of Giza Plateau (Cheops, Chefren, and Mecyrinos), the valley temple of king Chephren, and the Great Sphinx, the legendary guardian standing by the huge funeral complex with its human head and lion body. Finally, you will enjoy a camel ride for about 15 minutes.
There is a good chance to visit the Pyramids from inside, but it would be an extra charge 20$ per person.
Then have lunch in a local restaurant.
Then move to visit the Egyptian Museum, which exhibits thousands of objects ranging from the prehistoric era to the Greco–Roman period. It has calculated that if you spend one minute at each exhibit, it will take nine months to see the whole collection!
Then you will continue visiting Khan El Khalili Bazaar. It is time to explore old Islamic Cairo with its beautiful streets and have time for shopping.
Finally, go back to your hotel.
