Explore the glory of Alexandria through this amazing day tour allowing you to visit its famous sightseeing as Pompey’s Pillar, the citadel of Qaitbay, the catacomb, and the Biblioteca of Alexandria.
Your guide will pick you up from your hotel at 7:00 AM to take you in a comfortable air-conditioned vehicle to start your private day tour to the city of Alexandria.
You will start your day tour by visiting the Catacomb which has three levels underground with beautiful reliefs depict the mixture that happened between the Greco-Roman and the ancient Egyptian styles. After that, you will go ahead to Pompey’s Pillar which has nothing to do with Pompey, and our guide will tell you the reason.
Next, go ahead to the Citadel of Qaitbay dating back to the Ottoman period and built on the site of the ancient Lighthouse of Alexandria, one of the original Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.
Then we stop for lunch including fish, chicken, or vegetarian options.
After lunch, visit the new library of Alexandria.
Finally, we go back to your hotel.
